Autumn Spice Cheesecake Recipe
Warming autumnal spices meet creamy cheesecake... what's not to love?
A few years ago there was a Christmas bakeoff where I work and one of my colleagues brought in an insanely delicious Christmas pudding Cheesecake which is made by blending a shop bought christmas pudding into the cheescake mixture (a Tom Kerridge recipe I think).
I don't have the sweetest tooth but it was absolutely delicious and possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten! My colleague and I were discussing how yummy it was but how disappointing that it was so seasonal and ingredients would be hard to come by at other times of the year. We sat licking our plates and brainstorming what other type of cake might possibly do the job.
My friend then suggested that carrot cake might do a similar job and I declared her to officially be a genius, and the rest as they say is history!
The Big Back to School
Has there ever been a more significant September than this year?
If you have a little one who is starting preschool/school for the first time or they are returning after an unexpectedly long break then it's quite likely that this years 'Back to School' is even more highly anticipated than usual.
If you have been homeschooling and/or juggling work followed by an exceptionally unusual summer then it might be that the return to the school routine is the answer to your prayers! But while the prospect of a fresh, new school year is very exciting it's fair to say that it can feel a little overwhelming.

Over the Rainbow
As the rainbow trend marches on we came to wonder what it is about these riots of colour that are loved by so many?
Rainbows have always held a special significance for some and recent times have meant that they have become a little ray of light for more people than ever.
So... now that restrictions are lifting and we begin to adjust to our new normal are we 'over the rainbow'?
